There are 4 new films released on DVD this week and I have to admit I am not enthused by any of them. I have only seen one and it is a very average film, and by all accounts the other three films were utter rubbish, which is a shame when you see some of the acting talent on show. One of the releases however does coincidentally coincide with a big release in a couple of weeks with one of the stars starring in both films. Other than that this isn't really an exciting week for the DVD shelf, so you will have to forgive my negative response to these films.
THIS MEANS WAR - Tom Hardy and Chris Pine star as two CIA Agents who both fall for the same woman (Reese Witherspoon) and fight between themselves in order to win her heart. The stars of this film outweigh the film itself.

JOHN CARTER - A Disney take on a classic tale of the man known as John Carter helping the aliens of Mars prevent an invasion. This turned out to be a bit of a flop.

JACK AND JILL - Adam Sandler performs as himself and his sister in this dire film about when two siblings meet up for the first time in years. This one is supposed to be a comedy.

PROJECT X - A group of teenagers advertise a party on Facebook and accidentally host the biggest, wildest party of all time. Shame the parents of the kid have no idea it is to be held at their house.
