Over the last week the main film news has evolved around potential sequels to confirmed ones. Up first is the news that the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito film, Twins is getting a sequel starring Eddie Murphy as their long lost brother, film obviously entitled Triplets. It is a film that will need to do a lot of explaining in order to wrap the story line up but it is something that we could all have a bit of fun watching.In the New York Post, Schwarzenegger claiming to want Eddie Murphy into his highly anticipated movie idea for the sequel. He even claims to know the poster and the tagline; 'Only Their Mother Can Tell the Apart'. Not bad Arnie not too bad. Hopefully the film can live up to your expectations.
Dumb And Dumber 2 to shoot this year
The other piece of news also directs towards a comedy sequel. Also a film that was released some years ago, and also one where the two leads have signed on to return. This time it is Dumb And Dumber 2, with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels both excited to reprise their roles, and shooting will begin this year. That's right.What's that you say? They've already done a sequel? Dumb And Dumbererererer, I'm sorry but even the Farrelly Brothers are denying that movie, as a matter of fact so am I. This will be the official sequel. No other casting or story has been announced but we do know that they will be filming in the later part of this year. This will be a big one.
Dumb and Dumberer wasn't a sequel, it was a prequel. A very bad prequel. It was even called when Harry Met Lloyd.
