New on DVD this week: The Muppets

There are 4 films being released on DVD this week for all your viewing pleasures. 2 of them I have reviewed on my blog and the other 2 are ones I failed to see, which was a shame as one of them looks ace. You can have a look below at what films they are and to see if they have been recommended for your viewing.

Recommended
THE MUPPETS - Those loveable Muppets are back and this time they are alongside Jason Segel and Amy Adams, who play huge Muppet fans. Due to this they team with their favourite entertainers to save their old theatre from destruction by Chris Cooper.

MAN ON A LEDGE - Sam Worthington is the man on a ledge in this heist thriller. He threatens to jump unless his name is cleared by the police, who arrested him for a crime he did not commit. Whilst this plays along an attempted diamond robbery takes place next door. Coincidence?

EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE - The surprise nomination at the Oscars sees a young boy search the streets of New York for the lock of a secret key his Father left him before he was killed in the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers.

J. EDGAR - Leonardo Di Caprio play J Edgar Hoover in this biopic from Clint Eastwood. The film centres on his rise from inquisitive school child to founder of the FBI. It also hints at the possibility of him being homosexual. A great performance from Di Caprio as well.
