In Cinemas This Weekend: Zac Efron searches for his lucky charm.

The first week after Avengers Assemble's release needs to be a big one. It feels like that film has managed to change cinema. Whether that will remain or not is another question, but it is going to take a while before the group of super heroes is removed from people's minds. It could have been a game changer. The first week, post Avengers Assemble, shows 4 mainstream releases, one in particular many people in their 20's will be excited about. Will there be anything to topple Avengers Assemble? Have a look below.

1. Zac Efron searches for his lucky charm in THE LUCKY ONE. He returns from three tours of Iraq and travels across the country to search for the woman, whose picture he found during battle. This one picture, he believes, kept him alive. Also starring: Taylor Schilling, Blythe Danner & Riley Thomas Stewart. A love session for the weekend?

2. The class of '99 return in AMERICAN PIE: REUNION. All of the old gang are back with more hilarious results I'm sure. This time they meet at their old school reunion and realise despite their new maturity, things are still pretty much the same. Starring: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Sean William Scott & Chris Klein. Fancy a cringe worthy Jim moment?

3. Jason Statham kicks more serious ass, all for the sake of a young girl, in SAFE. The memory of this girl holds a priceless numerical code causing the Triads, Russian Mob and corrupt NYC cops to hunt her down. Cue Mr Statham as the only man willing to protect her. Also starring: Catherine Chan, Chris Sarandon & Robert John Burke. See Statham doing what he does best?

4. Finally is a film shot in real time, SILENT HOUSE. The 85 minute run time is the actual 85 minutes taking place in the film. It sees Elizabeth Olsen trapped inside her family's lakeside house unable to contact the outside world as strange beings begin to stalk her from inside and outside the house. Also starring: Adam Trese, Eric Sheffer Stevens & Julia Taylor Ross.

There are you 4 releases of the week. I think it will be a mixed bag to what people will see, all depending on your age and your gender. Come back Monday and read what film I went to see.
